The story behind the painting:

I painted this lavender field for a practitioner who was extremely compassionate and kind to me when I was at a truly difficult time with my health. I can’t help but think of how God leads us through fields of love that sometimes confuse us because we don’t know where He is taking us. But if we are willing to look, we will see that He has placed beauty along the way, even through very difficult times. 

This practitioner became a friend over time, and helped me to see the beauty God had placed around me through her kindness.
